Melkite Catholic Archbishop Jean Clement Jeanbart of Aleppo, Syria talk on the current state of affairs of Christians in Syria held on May 1, 2016 at St Mary's Church, New Haven, CT. The talk titled "Witness to Genocide" was sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Archbishop Jeanbart talked about the persecution of Christians in Syria and made the case that those baptized in the earliest days of the Church would have been Syrians and that Christianity has been fundamental to Syria for 2,000 years. He made the connection between those in attendance and believers in Syria being brothers and sisters in the mystical body of Christ and, for that reason, we need to come to the aide of our family to insure the future of Christianity in Syria.
