Notre Dame de Bon Secours Chapel, Montreal, Canada - historic church built at the encouragement of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoy in the 1650's. The original chapel was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1771. During the course of its history, sailors would pray to Our Lady of Good Help for safety during perils at sea. Upon their return to Montreal they would visit the church to give thanks to the Virgin Mary and hence the chapel became known as The Sailors' Church. http://www.marguerite-bourgeoys.com/en/chapel/history.asp
